Self Portrait is mixed-media self-portrait, created with oil pastel, spray paint, and acrylic. In this piece, I let the blackness surround me to represent the weight I carry, but I chose to let only the brain and tears stand out. For me, it shows that even when I feel lost in the dark, my thoughts and emotions are the parts of myself that can’t be hidden.
