Rockwell is my visual interpretation of that paranoid, anxious feeling the song "Somebody's Watching Me" captures so well. I wanted to channel the unease and hyper-awareness in the lyrics - that creeping sense that even when you're alone, you're never really alone.
The painting is filled with eyes, scattered and layered across a chaotic red and black background. Some are clear, some are blurred or distorted - like how it feels when you're being watched but can't tell by who or why.
The eyes don't just stare — they invade, they hover, they make you question your safety, your privacy, your sanity.
Spray paint was the perfect medium for this — it allowed me to make something that feels messy, quick, almost like a panic response. There's no clean edge, no sense of peace — just a constant, buzzing presence.
